Israeli soldier freed during ground operation in Gaza Strip, army says


An Israeli soldier has been freed from captivity by the radical Islamic group Hamas in the Gaza Strip during a ground military operation. The information was published by the Israeli army this Monday (30).

The military said the soldier, named Ori Megidish, was kidnapped by Hamas during the Oct. 7 terror attacks.

The military said he had already undergone medical examinations and was “doing well.”

No details were given on the circumstances of his release.
