Actor Lucas Penteado, 26, was hospitalized in São Paulo on Wednesday afternoon (25), after having an attack of emotional stress. The information was confirmed at CNN by the artist’s lawyer, Ariel de Castro Alves.
According to the professional, Lucas was suffering from a stress attack and needed help from his family in a hotel located in the Bela Vista neighborhood.
“Yesterday, October 25, early in the afternoon, actor Lucas Penteado experienced emotional distress while he was in a hotel in central São Paulo. The actor was rescued by his father and mother and taken in an ambulance for specialist mental health treatment.
Lucas’ condition is considered stable, but medical release is not expected, according to the attorney.
Stress attacks and problems with an ex-girlfriend
Actor, singer and MC, Lucas Penteado participated in Big Brother Brasil in 2021. During his participation in the program, the artist also had stress and anxiety attacks. The episodes resulted in the reality show being dropped just days after the game began.
During his participation in the show, a report was opened by an ex-girlfriend who accused the actor of assault and kidnapping. Lucas has denied the accusations.
