Star of the Brazilian national team and Al-Hilal, originally from Saudi Arabia, Neymar is already hospitalized at Mater Dei Hospital, in the South-Central region of Belo Horizonte. The striker will have surgery on his left knee by doctor Rodrigo Lasmar, of Atlético-MG and the Seleção, this Thursday morning (2).
Via his Instagram account, Neymar published a photo in his hospital bed in Belo Horizonte.
For the surgical procedure, Neymar landed, in the afternoon of this Wednesday (1st), at Pampulha airport, in the capital of Minas Gerais. The world football star walked with the help of crutches and with his left leg immobilized.
Neymar injury
Neymar tore the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and meniscus in his left knee. The player was injured during Brazil’s 2-0 defeat against Uruguay on October 17 at the Centenário Stadium in Montevideo.
Attacker recovery period
The trend is for Neymar to be out for at least six to eight months. As a result, the striker is out for the rest of the season.
