A video circulating on social media shows two civilian police officers attacking two young people during an approach in the town of Conselheiro Pena, inside the state of Minas Gerais.
In the images you can see two boys with their hands behind their heads and their legs apart. One of the police officers watches his colleague attack the boys.
After hitting the first boy in the ear, the police officer releases the boy, who takes the bicycle and leaves the scene. Subsequently, it is possible to see the police officer walking towards the other boy, who is also attacked and leaves the scene of the video.
According to a note published by the Civil Police on an official social media profile, the incident occurred in the town of Conselheiro Pena, on October 30 of this year.
Still according to the note, the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG) specifies that it does not tolerate the behavior practiced and that the approach adopted does not correspond to the values and protocols of the institution.
A CNN asked the civil police if a procedure would be opened to investigate this approach, but received no response until the publication of this article.
